Tech Note:

• All 79-85 Toyota 8 inch used 1-1/2 inch pinion head from factory. All 86-95 Toyota 8 inch 4 cyl and V6 used 1-5/8 inch pinion head from factory. Aftermarket gears that are referred to as V6 are 1-5/8 inch pinion head, aftermarket gears referred to as 4 cyl gears are 1-1/2 inch pinion head.
